Went out for Kelcy’s birthday last night to Francesca’s then Three Aces then VFW. Now. The VFW? Hipster honky tonk with karaoke? It was odd. I didn’t last long there. I don’t know if y’all know this: I am … old(er) than that crowd.
Woke up this morning fully dressed (including my sandals!) and lying diagonal on my bed. Way to go Sarah! Not that old! Undressed and slept till now and it is now time to go outside. EVERYONE IN CHICAGO GO OUTSIDE. I am already in my bikini (gott work up to monokini tan lines), listening to Jenny & Johnny and about to make a pomegranate margarita (ANTIOXIDANTS — it’s juice!).
Needing a pool. Or fine. The beach? I don’t get the beach yet. Like I want to get in water and be in clean pool water. I’m a pussy.
Plans later… a Yacht Rock party. Ernest’s backyard for drinks. a BBQ. I’m doing all right.
