Even people who’ve gotten HPV from non-monogamous one-night stands, even people who other people might call “slutty,” even people who’ve gotten HPV from whatever sort of sex they’ve had, with whomever they’ve chosen, should not have to, as “punishment,” get cervical cancer.

I found out I had HPV this spring. Likely I’ve had it for years. Not at all ashamed. If that’s the only STD I escape this life with then sweeeeeet action. Though the phrasing above annoys me “even non-sluts get it!” Ugh. If I’m slutty, I’m less valid for this? Tight.
Anyways what is scary about HPV? I had to have a CoPo and be tested for cervical cancer because of the HPV. Not cool bro. If the vaccine had come out when I was younger, I would have gotten it, but I was too old for it to be free then I didn’t have insurance, now I’m too old for it to be covered by insurance. But whatever, it’s done.
Bachmann’s stance and her lies scare the bejesus out of me, and hopefully doctors out there are really able to counter her baseless claims but … doubtful.
