I should direct my energies elsewhere, but it’s the principle of the thing.
I don’t know why I’m getting so worked up about this but it is royally pissing me off. I know that what I do at my other blog is not exactly original so maybe this shouldn’t bother me, but tumblr doesn’t list any adult-ish blogs in their directory. The place where Bend Me Over should be in the directory rankings skips right over it. This just bugs me because no one on tumblr staff seems to acknowledge these sort of things. Do they have some fancy algorithm to decide how much content is adult vs. how much content is not to be listed in the directory? Who comes up with tumblr’s policies about adult content? Because they’re just making stuff up as they go along and it’s annoying. Just someone post a disclaimer saying that this directory is not at all comprehensive, or something. You let us post whatever we want then you restrict us in other ways, it’s very bizarrely handled.
