On Thursday I started The Luxe, then yesterday I read Rumors and Envy and now I’m halfway through Splendor. If you, like me, like historical fiction, or to put it better: fiction set in far off times, then you might enjoy these books. They are super quick reads, 4 books in 4 days is not a record for me (THE ONE THING I ALWAYS BRAG ABOUT IS MY SPEED-READING) but it is quick, but they go quick. The 3rd book is the quickest. You’ll find yourself eager to see them through all while HATING certain characters. Kindle’s engage these impulsive reading binges … I like it.
Next up, will be starting Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins for my book club. Yes.
