I promise I will be. I’m more worried about how much history the state and I have. Ugh. But I was born in Houston so I can’t hate it too terribly. But yeah, the last time I was in Austin, it was for a court date. The time before that it was for SXSW and I ended up in a Travis County Jail. Previous to that though it was for my official visit to UT because I had been accepted and wanted to be a Longhorn. UGA was much more cost-effective, HOPE scholarship and what not.
I have been in Houston and Fort Worth though for weddings in the past few years and all was well. Texas, the state, is not my enemy, but TX DPS is quite the foe … ::shudders violently::
Anyways: 1. I’m not driving at all. Anywhere. 2. I am letting Austin ingratiate itself to me once more. 3. I’ll give it a fair shake. 4. Again no driving or messing with any Texas laws and ordinances. 5. I am 27, I foresee no issues.
