Men need more birth control options, not negative assumptions and ugly stereotypes.

AlterNet: Reproductive Justice and Gender: Low Expectations and Male Birth Control

Yes, a male birth control pill would have a market. Condoms are inconvenient and I think I would trust a guy to take a pill every day, they certainly trust me too. Like this article, I just don’t buy into the idea that men think that birth control should be the just the woman’s problem, though none I’ve ever been with have offered to help me pay for it (some claim all the other stuff they pay for evens this out, but that’s not necessarily true). Many guys have a genuine fear of getting girls pregnant, just as girls have the same fear of getting pregnant. In an ideal world, both sexes would equally share the burden of birth control and the cost would be minimal. Things are not that easy though, but a male birth control pill could even the playing field a little.
