Thoroughly enjoyed your review. I haven’t seen the movie yet but I read the book years ago. PUSH by Sapphire was required reading for one of my Women’s Studies classes and it so disturbed me that I never forgot it. Since I’ve read the book and know the horrors of the story, I’ve built it up so much in my mind that I’m almost afraid to watch the movie. I do plan on seeing the movie, but from the privacy of my home and if you’re so inclined, I suggest you read the book, it’s very good, if very disturbing.
