I’m pretty positive I’ll be the trailing spouse if I ever bother getting married. That’s kind of okay with me though, I’d rather do something less demanding and flexible (hello, teaching?), even if I don’t have kids. Interestingly, my dad was the “trailing spouse” in my parents’ marriage. We moved to Atlanta purely for my mother’s job.
