We witnessed a pretty bad accident tonight.
No one was seriously hurt, but there were two very messed up cars. And we actually stayed in the cold to talk to the police about what we saw because the dude who caused the accident ran a red light so egregiously and was driving so erratically that we wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t get out of anything. We were the only other car on the portion of Peachtree and Lenox as him so no one else could tell really what happened, so I’m glad we waited. It was scary though that a wreck like that could come down to he said/she said but it certainly would have. We sat there and listened to him lie about what happened, ugh, I wanted to tell him off, but obviously that would not be my place and there were cops/firefighters/ambulance people around so it was really unnecessary but still…
